STUDY OF THE EFFICACY OF POTASSIUM DICARBOXYLATE TNF K22 IN THE CONTROL OF CHILLI VIRUSES

Full study

The aim of this study is to determine whether TNF K22 ECO, a potassium dicarboxylate of the brand name TNF, works as an inhibitor of virus reproduction in chilli cultivation.

17 of OCtuDre stem leaves are sampled for disease analysis to determine whether in addition to the oidium, the plant was infected by other diseases that had not been detected
In the analysis present in Annex I, it is observed that in addition to oidium, and the presence of Phytophtora spp. and CMV virus was detected.
Although the damping-off detected at the beginning and middle of the 2018 campaign is consistent with the presence of Phytophtora spp, no symptomatology of CMV virus was detected.
Pictures of the crop at the end of the campaign are attached in Annex II.

Potassium dicarboxylate TNF K22 of the trademark Tecnufol has been shown to be an effective agent in inhibiting the reproduction of the CMV virus that although it was present in the culture as shown by the analysis, did not manifest in the cultivation of chilli pepper from the Zubelzu Piparrak estate.
